Prof. Arun Chakraborty (FRMetS)
Bio
Prof. Chakraborty is a well-known Ocean modeler who has a profound experience in Regional Ocean Modeling Systems (ROMS), and ROMS-WRF coupled model (CROCO). He developed a stretched coordinate IITD-OGCM model during his Ph.D. at IIT Delhi. During his post-doctoral visit to USA and Japan, he worked on Florida State University Coupled Global and Regional Spectral Model, and Coupled model (MOM+FrAM) development at the University of Tokyo (UTCM), respectively.
